My awesome wife JoLynn is a strapping 4'11.5" tall with only 25.5 inch inseam! We we decided to sell the recumbent trikes due to moving into a 2nd. floor apartment, I found us both matching 2007 Electra Townie 21d's (21 speed derailleur model). I was for sure that with it being a "step-thru frame" and being a "crank forward" set up she'd be able to "come to a stop on and her feet could flat foot the ground while staying on the seat! LOL, well I was WRONG, with the seat post as far low as it's safe (and the quick release seat latch can keep the seat from rotating!!), she barely can get the tip of her TOES on the ground while she's sitting on the seat! :( So the "advantage of crank forward" set up is useless for her, RATS!! The bike has 26 in. wheels and to be honest it's actually a bit "too tall" for her so we will be looking at getting her a "different" step-thru bike in a SMALL as frame as possible! Luckly for ME, she LOVES to ride with me so I will be selling her bike and getting her on another as soon as possible! Hope you SO decides to ride again after you sweet classic bike find for her! :)B.J. and JoLynn Ondohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10705559333741947530noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4817618840776532991.post-48964468566845238822021-01-21T05:11:07.868-08:002021-01-21T05:11:07.868-08:00Beth, looks like a 21" frame like mine.
