yet another cool bike - anonymous folder

This came into the shop today:

There are no identifying marks on it, only Chinese characters on the tire sidewalls.
I find it a little odd that there's no front shock, only the rear. It's an interesting frame and if anyone has any idea what it might be, speak up. It's likely going to be available for sale at the Annex after processing.

It's hard to tell since I can't get a good look at the folding mechanism. I used to have a small wheeled folder, but a couple years ago, I got a full-size folding bike, which has proven to be perfect for me. It's the convenience of a small wheeled folder like this one, but it still rides awesome.

I owned two of these , bought them about 3 years ago in South China wher I had an apartment for visiting factories, My wife and I used them to cycle to shops etc but gave them away recently when selling up. They cost about 280RMB...$40USD? Really awful to ride! They bend in the middle as you go over a bump and the saddle gets nearer the seat as it does so. I eventually Bought a Steel Framed 7 speed Giant folder to go out in the hills and nature reserve behind where we lived...billard table smooth, brand new roads and lovely scenery...so different to the towns and cities where cycling is really dangerous!. Cheers
