I took it for a short test ride today and it is smooth.
The gears it came with are fine, at least for now, and improved by friction shifters. I found a rear-mount kickstand for it, fenders and a front rack. I have a Carradice rear bag for it that’s waiting for a touch-up with proofing wax, and I’ll figure out whether the bag needs a support rack or not.
The front tire with its sidewall patch is holding air and rides fine.
If the rain holds off tomorrow morning, I’ll take it for my final official Coffeeneuring ride.
